CFP: Past Tense Graduate Review of History, Vol. 10 (Summer 2022)
Are you an MA or early stage PhD student looking for your first publication? We invite you to submit your work for the Summer 2022 issue of Past Tense Graduate Review of History.
Past Tense is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal run by the graduate students of the Department of History at the University of Toronto. Since the publication of its first issue in 2012, Past Tense has been dedicated to showcasing the work of graduate students and providing experience in academic publishing for early career academics. Although subjects must be historical, we welcome articles focused on a broad geographic and chronological range.
We accept original research articles (20-30 double spaced pages), book reviews of recent publications (700-1000 words), and critical commentaries on issues in the field of history (about 1000-1500 words). Feel free to reach out to us by email to "pitch" reviews or commentaries for the Summer 2022 issue.
All submissions should be sent to pasttensejournal@gmail.com by November 1, 2021 to be considered for the Summer 2022 issue.
Please consult our website at http://pasttensejournal.com for further information about the publication process, style guide, and other submission guidelines.
