Seattle, Washington April 13–16 2022

 

2021 marks the centennial anniversary of the Miss America Pageant. Over its 100 year existence, the pageant has been an institution that has managed to weather many storms and reemerge with a remarkable degree of resiliency. From its most ardent supporters to its most disdainful detractors, the pageant has also been a lightning rod of controversy. Love it or loathe it, there is no doubt that the annual event has firmly etched itself into the fabric of American popular culture.
