On behalf of Dr Panagiota MARKOULAKI (rédacteur-en-chef) and in order to prepare its forthcoming volume, the Revue de l'Archéologie du Vêtement et du Costume (ISSN 2728-0896; eISSN 2728-4662) call for proposals of original articles on subjects related to the specific topics of the journal.

The Revue de l’Archéologie du Vêtement et du Costume (RArcheoVC), in an annual volume, aims at providing a specialized forum of discussions and analyses on the archaeology of cloth and costume dating from the earliest prehistory to the 20th century. The journal publishes any archaeological research on this topic that may include, but not be limited to, the study and analysis of the technology and production, of the decoration and use, of the symbolism etc. of the cloth, clothing, and the costume of a given period, as well as studies on theoretical issues concerning the human appearance from prehistory to the 20th century.

The editorial team accepts proposals in French or in English.

Each proposal must include the name and affiliation of the author(s), a title, an abstract of maximum 200 words, and up to 7 key-words, and can be sent by email to the Editor in .doc format.

The deadline for the proposal submission is 3 December 2021.

The submission procedure and author guidelines are available on the journal's web-site, while the editorial team remains at your disposal for any enquiries.

The forthcoming volume of the journal will be published in June 2022.
