The conference will be held June 1 -3, 2022, at the Arab Academic College in Haifa, Israel. Conference sessions will explore the relationship between social justice and multiculturalism, especially as they are related to education. Israel is home to four major religions and numerous cultural groups. Teachers, teacher educators, academic researchers and policy makers live social justice issues every day, making the Arab Academic College an ideal home for this conference. Presenters and attendees from around the world will bring experiences from their cultural contexts. This meeting can generate new theoretical understanding and an enriched practical agenda.
Programming will include paper presentations, panels, round table discussions and expert keynote speakers from Israel and abroad.
Post- conference guided tours will be available.
Keynote speakers: Professor Emeritus James Banks, University of Washinton; Professor Cherry MacGee Banks, University of Washington; Professor Emeritus Michael Connelly, OISE University of Toronto
