On behalf of the organisers Dr Eloise Grey, Matthew Lee and myself, I am pleased to announce that registration is open for our first conference ‘Colonial Connections: North East Scotland and its colonial past, 1700-1840.’

Featuring a keynote by Dr Andrew Mackillop (University of Glasgow), the programme features an interesting selection of papers that explore the impacts individuals and institutions from the North-East of Scotland made during the early years of British colonial expansion. 

The online conference will take place 17-18 June 2021, from 13.00-17.20 (GMT). Please visit our conference website to receive log-in information and view the conference program.
