CALL FOR MANUSCRIPTS: Bloomsbury Academic Publishing

Bloomsbury Academic Publishing hereby invites manuscripts from scholars from all over the world for its new series, BLACK LITERARY AND CULTURAL EXPRESSIONS. The series seeks to publish new works that explore Black creative expressions through a multidisciplinary lens, critically analyzing their provenances, genres, aesthetics, intersections, and modes of circulation. The publications should ideally engage emerging and under-explored issues in the various genres of arts, and writers are expected to anticipate, analyze, and shape emerging discourses on Black culture. We anticipate submissions that engage varied and imaginative uses of theory and methods to both reflect the invigorating ways Black cultures are engaging the world and also advance the scope of study across multiple disciplines. Interested authors should send their proposals and sample chapters to the series editors:

Professor Toyin Falola, toyinfalola@austin.utexas.edu; Dr. Abimbola Adelakun, adelakun@austin.utexas.edu;  and Amy Martin, amy.martin@bloomsbury.com.
