We are delighted to announce a new book series at ARC Humanities Press: ‘Gender and Power in the Premodern World’. We are aiming to fill a lacuna in the field by offering a short form (30-45,000 word length) series for monographs and collections which explore issues related to gender and power-both interpreted in the broadest possible sense. We are looking for innovative research and have an open and inclusive remit with regard to disciplinary focus, period and place-with a global remit for our series we are open to studies from any geographical or cultural context. The series also aims to publish work at an affordable price point with open access options in order to give the research published with us the widest possible reach. For more information, please see our website: https://arc-humanities.org/our-series/arc/gender-and-power-in-the-premodern-world/ and do get in touch with myself (Dr Elena Woodacre) or any of the other members of the editorial board (Professors Carole Levin, Simon Doubleday and Susan Broomhall) if you have any queries or would like to discuss potential proposals for the series with us.
