The multidisciplinary conference What is Left? Class Analysis and the Present Crisis will be held virtually on May 7-8th, 2021.

Across six panels, advanced graduate students and early-career academics will present papers that employ or otherwise critically engage with Marxian class analysis, especially as a method for examining leftist theoretical and strategic commitments. An expert on the theme of each panel will respond to papers and offer framing questions and concerns for the audience Q&A. Keynotes by Walter Benn Michaels (UIC) and Marcie Smith (CUNY) will close out each day.
