Next Friday, May 7, 2021 will take place the postponed session of the permanent seminar Iberian Worlds and Early Globalization organized by the PAI HUM 1000 group "History of Globalization: negotiation violence and interculturality". On this occasion, Stuart B. Schwartz's book, Blood and Boundaries: The limits of Religious and Racial Exclusion in Early Modern Latin America (Brandeis University Press) will be presented and discussed.

The event will be moderated by Professor Bartolomé Yun Casalilla (UPO) and will feature presentations of the book by Mercedes García Arenal (ILC, CSIC, Madrid) and David Nirenberg (University of Chicago). The author of the book, Professor Stuart B. Schwartz (Yale University), will offer a reply to the comments followed by an open debate with the public.
