This conversation will feature Claudio Saunt, Richard B. Russell Professor in American History and Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Georgia; and Barbara Krauthamer, Dean, College of Humanities and Fine Arts, Professor of History, UMass Amherst.

“Encounters”: this event is held simultaneously in Amherst and Jerusalem in collaboration with the Avraham Harman Research Institute of Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (and the Institute for Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies of UMass Amherst).
