Call for Chinese translators for Jonathan Neale’s book, Fight the Fire: Green New Deals and Global Climate Jobs

In the first month since The Ecologist in England and AIDC in South Africa
co-published Jonathan Neale’s book, Fight the Fire: Green New Deals and
Global Climate Jobs, nearly 10,000 people downloaded it as a free pdf or a
free e-book. The book is 100% open access, you can download a free copy
here.

We think there may well be a similar demand for the book in other
languages. We have already arranged a Turkish translation. Other people
have volunteered to help with Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, German,
Polish, French and Spanish.

We are currently looking for 5 more Chinese translators to join our
team. We expect each volunteer to translate ONE PART of the book, and we
aim to do it in the next 12 months. If you are interested in being involved,
please contact Jonathan Neale by 13 April 2021, who holds the rights, at
lindisfarne.neale@gmail.com

We do not have any money to pay our translators, so this will have to be
volunteer work, but we are grateful that you make time to participate in this
important and meaningful project.
