This workshop brings together 11 scholars, 5 women and 6 men, from Political Science, Sociology, and International Relations with different research interests involving IR theory, global governance, globalization theories, postnational Europe, hybrid security threats, self-determination, rising powers, diplomacy, identity politics, emotion and trauma studies. Workshop participants aim to demonstrate the promise of postWestern thinking as an innovative analytical framework that will open new horizons for future research on world politics.
