On Thursday, February 25 at 3:30pm, Miguel Rosales of The New York Public Library and costume designer Raven Ong analyze images of Filipiniana dress in the context of the Philippines' colonial past and discuss the ways in which clothing influences the weaving of a national narrative.

Doc Chat is a weekly, 30-minute program series from the New York Public Library that digs deep into the stories behind the Library’s most interesting collections and highlights ways that teachers can incorporate them into the classroom.
