CFP: Medievalism in Popular Culture Area for PCA, VIRTUAL

The Medievalism in Popular Culture Area invites papers on any topics that explore popular culture in the Middle Ages or transcribes some aspect of the Middle Ages into the popular culture of later period. These representations can occur in any genre, including film, television, fiction, graphic novels, gaming, advertising, etc. This area also accepts proposals related to the teaching of medievalism.

Proposals should include a 250 word abstract. Presentations should be no longer than 15 minutes including media content. Submissions must be made through the submission portal at pcaaca.org.
