Marine Corps History journal is accepting submissions of scholarly articles focused on new and unique research into the Marine Corps’ history for the next two issues and beyond. The editors also maintain a list of books available for review.


NEW DEADLINES: The editors are currently accepting article submissions for the Winter 2021 and Summer 2022 issues

Issue                 –         Deadline

Winter 2021  –  1 June 2021

Summer 2022   –   1 January 2022



Articles should be 4,000 – 10,000 words long, fully footnoted, and formatted according to Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition). Junior faculty and advanced graduate students are encouraged to submit. All articles undergo double-blind peer review and revisions may be requested.


Marine Corps History is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published twice each year by Marine Corps University Press.
