The Massachusetts Historical Society is proud to offer three Fellowships for K-12 teachers and high school students to explore the Society's collections. These fellowships are available to all K-12 educators and high school students in the U.S. Due to COVID-19 concerns, all fellowships can be completed fully remotely during the summer. Applications are due by 11:59PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

The fellowships offer educators the opportunity to conduct archival research and create educational materials using documents and artifacts from the Massachusetts Historical Society collections. We are seeking applications that identify an area of need in the educator's curriculum.

Our 2021 Fellows will work with materials that have already been digitized and made available on our website. We recommend browsing our Online Collections for ideas of what sorts of materials are available!

Detailed descriptions of each of the three Fellowships, and links to the applications, can be on our Fellowships page.
