In recent years, genealogical websites and government agencies have made millions of valuable historical documents digitally available to the public. There is a tremendous amount of information that can be gleaned from these documents to aid scholars interested in social history. This edited collection will allow researchers to present historically researched and contextualized family case studies as a lens to enrich our understanding of the past.
Interested individuals are encouraged to submit proposals for one or more chapters.
A chapter should normally be no longer than 6,000-8,000 words, and should be original and previously unpublished. If the work has already been published (as a journal article, or in conference proceedings, for example), the Publisher will require evidence that permission to be re-published has been granted.
