A Seminar on Afghanistan at Oxford

The Oxford University Strategic Studies Group is convening a seminar with Professor Iftikhar Malik, Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Professor of International History at Bath Spa University. Professor Malik's research interests lie in the political and intellectual history of Islam. His most recently authored books include The Silk Road and Beyond: Narratives of a Muslim Historian (OUP, 2020) and Pashtun Identity and Geopolitics of Southwest Asia: Pakistan and Afghanistan since 9/11 (Anthem, 2016).

Professor Malik will be speaking on 'Afghanistan in Southwest Asia: The Search for Peace, Reconciliation and Security'. The Facebook link for the event can be found here. The event will begin at 7pm UK time
