The next meeting of the Church of Ireland Historical Society will take place online via Zoom at 11.00am BST on Saturday 7th November 2020. 

There are four speakers:

Prof. Dáibhí Ó Cróinín (NUI Galway), Saint Patrick: Life and Afterlife

Dr Clodagh Tait (Mary Immaculate College, Dublin), ‘The ghosts in granny’s attic': women and the material culture of the decline of the Church of Ireland

Dr Aoife Bhreatnach (independent), Burying the poor: the Church of Ireland and the friendless dead, 1830-1930

Noel Lindsay, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. The rejection of non-denominational education and the introduction of segregated education in Northern Ireland, 1921-30
