The Alpha Gamma Beta Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta at Youngstown State University is seeking proposals for the 2021 V.W. HATH is an annual conference organized by YSU students to promote interdisciplinary research at the undergraduate and graduate level. It also includes professionalization workshops hosted by faculty members and humanities professionals.

HATH invites submissions for both individual and panel presentations. Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members, and humanities professionals are all encouraged to apply. Proposals on any topic in the humanities and social sciences are welcome.

Individual presentations should be 15 minutes in length and may take the form of a traditional paper presentation, poster presentation, multimedia demonstration, etc.. Presenters are not required to submit their projects in advance, but must provide a brief abstract with their proposal.

Each year, HATH awards monetary prizes to the best graduate student presentation and to the two best undergraduate student presentations.
