H-Envirohealth invites proposals for video mini-lectures of two minutes or less on topics highlighting the relevance of your research projects to contemporary events, at the intersection of environmental and health or medical history. We envision this as an opportunity to feature and promote new scholarship important for today’s issues.
Potential topics may include:
- health agencies
- emergency/disaster management
- protests during pandemics
- racism as a public health issue
- environmental health
- politicization of health/science
- pollution regulations, science, and politics
- systemic failures
- planetary health
- climate migrants
We especially look to highlight the work of recent Ph.D.s, and junior and independent scholars.
Mini-lectures should be two minutes or less and self-produced, using Zoom or any other widely available software. By October 20, please contact us both to inform us of your interest and send us a one-to-two sentence sketch of your proposed topic.
