Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to invite you to participate in the interactive online workshop on motherhood and religion that we will host on Sunday, November 29 (1-4 pm EST), in the framework of the American Academy of Religion 2020 Virtual Annual Meetings.

Deadline for registration is November 15 or upon reaching capacity (30 participants). Note that you must be registered for the 2020 Virtual Annnual Meetings of the AAR or the SBL. There is no additional cost for this workshop.

Participants will be invited to complete a brief survey in advance of the online meeting. Two selected speakers, Prof. Margaret Kamitsuka and Prof. Oliver Freiberger, will deliver keynote presentations and engage with the participants' questions. Virtual breakout rooms will allow for small groups discussions of key issues at the intersection of religion, spirituality with motherhood and mothering. After the official closure of the workshop, the online meeting room will remain open until 4:30 pm for optional networking and conversations.
