TOMORROW: Webinar Announcement!

An emergency webinar with famous labor lawyer Susan Prieto Terrazas, and a key leader in the labor movement in Mexico Oscar Alzaga, are coming together for one hour to discuss labor emergencies in The new North American Free Trade Agreement (New NAFTA).

The New NAFTA just went into effect, and right-wing Mexican politicians and U.S. corporations are conspiring to gut the deal’s improved labor rules. It is critical that we fight back now to ensure these rules actually benefit workers.

Susana Prieto Terrazas is a leading labor lawyer for border maquila workers just released after imprisonment on trumped up charges and currently under threat of re-arrest. Oscar Alzaga is the legal advisor to one of Mexico’s few independent unions – Los Mineros – which has long been the target of violent repression.

The event will last exactly 1 hour and will include a live Q&A with our guests.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
