I am interested in forming a panel on transnational abolitionism (broadly defined) for American Historical Association's annual conference in New Orleans in January 2022. The deadline to submit a proposal will be sometime in February 2021, so I want to get an early start. I have a paper idea on British and American abolitionists relationship during the early to mid 1800s. I am open to any papers on transnational abolitionism that could be combined to form an interesting panel. If you have a paper or an idea to submit, please send your contact information and a 300 word abstract of your paper to Kathrine Griffin at kgrif024@fiu.edu

I will be accepting proposals until August 1, 2020.
