The Social Possibility Lab seeks contributors for “guest” posts on our website. Contributors are invited to submit essay-style contributions of 2,000-4,000 words. Submissions may be derived from work-in-progress or research but should be geared for a general readership (not solely an academic audience). Creative responses are welcome. Publication decisions are solely at the discretion of our project team and submissions may be edited for tone, clarity, concision, or more.

In terms of content and subject matter, the Lab seeks to collect a varied and textured mix of stories and insights while moving beyond laudatory stories to capture more complex narratives of the individuals and organizations working for social innovation in communities and regions. We are also interested in the role of a wide range of people in an organization or community and their everyday lives and practices, and the connection of this “everyday life” to social possibility and imaginative capacity.   We are ESPECIALLY interested in submissions from (or that share the stories of) communities, organizations, or individuals contending with specific challenges or opportunities and that employ specific detail or thick description.
