Quarantined Across Borders: Call for Short Essays
QUARANTINED ACROSS BORDERS: CALL FOR BLOG/E-BOOK ENTRIES
We invite personal narratives, commentaries, and critical essays on immigrant/diasporic/borderland communities during the lockdown, quarantine, or shelter-in-place issued during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Anybody from any background, geographic location, age group, and occupation can submit.
Initial 800-1000 word short essays are due to Dr. Srivi Ramasubramanian at srivi@tamu.edu by May 15, 2020.

All essays will first appear on the Media Rise blog and its social media pages in May 2020. The International Journal of Communication (IJOC), a leading interdisciplinary online multi-media journal centered in communication scholarship, will be publishing selected essays from the "Quarantined Across Borders" collection as a Forum special section.
