Nottingham Trent University is offering fully-funded PhD studentships aligned to the subjects of its research centres. One of these is the Centre for Travel Writing Studies (CTWS) (founded in 2002-3 by Professor Tim Youngs, who remains its Director). The studentships, for full-time study, are open to UK and international applicants. The closing date is 14th February 2020 at noon (GMT). In advance of the deadline potential applicants who meet the eligibility criteria should contact the CTWS at CTWS@ntu.ac.uk with details of their proposed thesis topic. We welcome proposals on any aspect of travel writing, including for creative-based work (whether prose or poetry).
