Founded in 2006, the International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences is brought together by a common interest in disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, within and across the various social sciences, and between the social, natural, and applied sciences. The conference also investigates what constitutes “science” in a social context and the connections between the social and other sciences. The focus ranges from the finely grained and empirical to wide-ranging multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives on knowledge and method.
