This event celebrates the release of Adam Ferziger's new book, Yitz Greenberg and Modern Orthodoxy: The Road Not Taken, which explores the life of Rabbi Dr. Irving “Yitz” Greenberg and the historical ramifications of his theological and public stances, as discussed by scholars at the Oxford Summer Institute on Modern and Contemporary Judaism in 2014. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Books will be available for purchase. This event immediately succeeds the roundtable "Between Activism and Theology: A Critical Examination of the Role of Yitz Greenberg in American Judaism," at 1:30 p.m. in Sapphire 410A.
