The S Word: Stanislavsky and The Media

London South Bank University, 23rd to 25th April 2020.

The S Word in partnership with The Centre for Digital Storymaking presents our 2020 symposium.

Keynote Speakers: Sir Richard Eyre, Tanika Gupta

Guest Lecture: Laurence Senelick

In our sixth international research event, we will explotre all aspects of the relationship between Konstantin Stanislavsky and the Media: television, radio, film, the internet, virtual reality, print, photography, fine art and cross-media performance and production - acting, writing and directing.

We now invite proposals for papers (20 minutes), workshops (40 minutes) and panels (60 minutes/minimum 3 presenters).

Proposals should include a short abstract (300 words) and a biography.

The deadline for sending proposals is Friday 10th January 2020 , by email to Paul Fryer (paul@paulfryer.me.uk)

Selected papers will be published in the online and print editions of the journal Stanislavski Studies (Taylor and Francis).
