Brexit Interdisciplinary Conference: Challenges and Consequences for EU and UK
CfP: Brexit Interdisciplinary Conference: Challenges and Consequences for EU and UK
Venue: Schiller International University, Madrid Campus, Madrid, Spain
June 5-7, 2020
Brexit has been an important issue for both the United Kingdom and the European Union since 2016. The UK referendum of 2016 has triggered a series of international negotiations, domestic policy issues, corporate, legal and migration concerns and a whole other myriad of issues which will have a serious impact on both the UK and the EU in case of a Brexit. Another aspect that is quite curious is that nobody even knows if and when will Brexit happen?!
Hence, at Schiller International University Madrid Campus, we are hosting an international conference dealing with all the aspects and challenges of Brexit. We invite submissions by selected scholars as well as graduate students interested in any aspect of Brexit. Any high quality submission relevant to the conference theme is welcome. Suggested areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Global British Power in the Future
- Impact on food policies
- The Irish Border

- Labour mobility
- Migration
- Compromises in Negotiations
- Security
- Brexit deadline
- Financial impact
- Scotland, Whales and Brexit
- Tourism and traveling
