Call for Papers: Rethinking African Politics Conference and AGM of African political science association

A steering committee for the launch of an African association of political studies or revival of the now defunct African Association of Political Science invites scholars who work on African political studies in their broad nature as well as related cognate disciplines to submit interest to attend and present or convene panels at the Rethinking African Politics Conference to take place on 25-26 April 2020 in Pretoria/Tshwane, Gauteng province, South Africa. This should take the form of an 300 words abstract sent to by 1 December 2019. 

Abstracts are invited in all themes in political science, international relations, poliical economy, political sociology, political pyschology, gender politics studies, and so forth. Such work must discuss issues relate to the need to rethink how we think about African politics both as a practice/art and as a science. Papers will be required by end of March 2020.
