CALL FOR PAPERS
International Journal for the Study of New Religions 10.2
The International Journal for the Study of New Religions publishes innovative studies with diverse approaches to the study of contemporary religion. The second 2019 issue of the IJSNR, under the newly appointed editors Fredrik Gregorius and Venetia Robertson, is seeking submissions for an expedited review, revision, and editing process. This call for papers may be particularly relevant for scholars who have conference papers or other articles at a near-publishable state and would like a speedy publication opportunity. Articles are to be submitted through the IJSNR webpage,
https://journals.equinoxpub.com/IJSNR/index, where the guidelines for authors can also be found.
The production dates are as follows:
- articles, written in full in adherence to the house style, are to be submitted to the journal by 5 December 2019;
- submitted articles that fit within the parameters of the journal’s outlook will be sent to expert reviewers;
- if the article is accepted by the reviewers and editors, authors will be asked to revise (if necessary) and submit a final copy;
- the issue goes into production for publication as soon as all articles are approved, due for release in early 2020.
The International Journal for the Study of New Religions considers submissions from both established scholars and research students from all over the world. Articles should be written in English for a general scholarly audience and address new religion/s broadly conceived. The editors will not consider manuscripts that are under consideration by another publisher. It is assumed that once submitted to International Journal for the Study of New Religions, articles will not be sent to other publishers until a decision about inclusion has been reached.
