The Joint Journalism and Communication History Conference (JJCHC) is accepting submissions for its 2020 conference, which will be held at the Arthur L. Carter Institute, 6th Floor New York University, 20 Cooper Union, New York, NY on March 14, 2020.

This one-day interdisciplinary gathering welcomes submissions from faculty, graduate students and independent scholars with interests in all areas of communication and journalism history and from all time periods.  Participants can submit completed papers, abstracts representing research in progress, complete panel proposals and workshop proposals  For research in progress, panel proposals and workshop proposals, please submit a 500-word abstract.

All submissions will be managed through EasyChair

The JJCHC has a popular early submission option.  People who submit papers and abstracts  before November 15 will be notified of acceptance or rejection by December 7.  The standard submission deadline is January 7, 2020 with notification in early February. 

The cost of the conference, which includes continental breakfast and lunch is:

$55 by March 1

$65 after March 1
