The Center for 17th- & 18th-Century Studies and the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library offer a range of research fellowships for both graduate and post-doctoral researchers interested in work in the Clark’s collections. Fellowship applications for residency during the 2020–21 academic year open today and are due by February 1, 2020. Details of post-doctoral fellowships and graduate fellowships are on our website. Applications for all our research fellowships can be completed online using the combined fellowship application form.

This year we offer a brand new graduate fellowship, the Kenneth Karmiole Endowed Graduate Research Fellowship, supported by local antiquarian bookseller and longtime Clark supporter, Kenneth Karmiole. This year also marks the first year of our Clark Bibliographical Fellowship.
