The History Graduate Association at the Arch Dalrymple III Department of History at the University of Mississippi is pleased to announce their inaugural Graduate History Conference for March 21, 2020 in Oxford, Mississippi.

Our theme is Transcending Boundaries and we encourage papers that deal with ideas, places, and people who have transcended boundaries—a theme that can be broadly construed to include boundaries that are geographic, chronological, class, race, and gender, and the ways that these have been negotiated and reimagined throughout history.

In keeping with our inaugural theme, Transcending Boundaries, we invite advanced undergraduates, graduate students, and established scholars from across the social sciences and humanities to submit proposals for papers or panels. We encourage papers and panels from a diverse geographic and chronological background, as well as fields and methodologies from across the discipline.

Paper proposals should be no more than 350 words and include a short curriculum vita as an attachment to umisshga@gmail.com by January 15, 2020.
To submit panel proposals, include a 250-word description of the topic, along with an abstract for the personal paper proposal, and your CV.
