Join Eastern European academics and professionals in Philadelphia 2020!

 

We are considering proposals for sessions organized around a theme, special panels, and/or individual papers related to popular culture in Eastern Europe. Sessions are scheduled in 1½ hour slots, typically with four papers or speakers per standard session. Presentations should not exceed 15 minutes. Working professionals, scholars, educators, and graduate students are all encouraged to submit.

 

Interested individuals are asked to submit an abstract of no more than 250 words (including presentation title) and complete contact information (name, institutional affiliation, mail and e-mail addresses, and contact telephone number) to http://conference.pcaaca.org.

Travel and research grants are available: http://pcaaca.org/grants/

 

Panel proposals of 4 speakers and/or discussion panels of 4-6 participants each are also encouraged.

Name and contact information for the Panel Chair

Titles and abstracts of each paper

Contact information for each presenter

 

All presenters must be members of the PCA and must register for the conference.

1 October                    Early Bird Registration Opens

1 November                Deadline for Paper Proposals and Endowment Grants

1 December                 Early Bird Registration Rate Ends

1 January                     Regular Registration Ends

2 January                     Late Registration Begins

15 January 2020          Brigman and Jones Awards Deadline

20 January 2020          Preliminary Program Available

1 February 2020          Registration Ends: Participants Not Registered Removed from Program at end of the day

2 February 2020          Registration System closes at MIDNIGHT

1 March 2020              Non-presenters Registration opens

17-20 April 2019        Washington, D.C.!
