I am developing a proposal for a roundtable on the teaching of African-American history in the #BlackLivesMatter era. I would like the participants to include educators at all levels (K-12, undergraduate, graduate) from multiple institution types (HBCU, SLAC, R1, regional public, charter, etc.). Interests can include any era (or geographical region) of African-American history. The proposal will be submitted for inclusion in the Organization of American Historians 2021 Annual Meeting program.

Please send me your name, contact information, title, institution, and a brief (100-200 words) statement outlining your experience teaching African-American history since roughly 2014 by December 1, 2019 (the deadline for complete proposal submissions is February 3, 2020).
