The Rocky Mountain Military Affairs Society invites you to a free public lecture, "To the Shores of Tripoli . . . And Beyond:  The Evolution of the U.S. Military Presence in Africa," presented by Dr. Michael Fowler, Associate Professor, Department of Military and Strategic Studies, USAF Academy.  

Michael Fowler is an Associate Professor of Military and Strategic Studies at the United States Air Force Academy. His research focuses on the fields of military strategy and intelligence studies. Mike earned his Ph.D. in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School. Mike previously worked at U.S. Africa Command (2010-2013) and the Operation Unified Protector Combined Air Operations Center (NATO-Libya campaign in 2011).
