I am seeking two or three more presenters for a prospective panel on “Black Radicalism and Public Memory” for the Fifth Annual Meeting of the African American Intellectual History Society (AAIHS) to be held at the University of Texas, Austin in 2020 (March 6-7).  You may read more about the meeting here.

Ideally the panel will explore black radicalism and memory preservation across time and spaces. My own paper for this panel will probe the radical ideas produced from black women’s reflections on suffering and death in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

If you are interested in joining the panel, please contact me no later than Friday, September 13 via email at
