The Department of History seeks to hire an assistant professor of modern Chinese history.
A PhD in hand by August 1, 2020 and evidence of scholarly potential are required. The successful candidate will prepare classes in her/his area of specialization, be active in research and publication, perform university service, and contribute to the community of East Asia specialists in related departments and programs.
