Join us on September 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. to celebrate Jennifer Van Horn, PhD, Assistant Professor of Art History and History at the University of Delaware, the winner of our inaugural Director's Essay Prize.
Dr. Van Horn will present her prize-winning essay, “’The Dark Iconoclast’: African Americans’ Artistic Resistance in the Civil War South.” published in The Art Bulletin, (Volume 99, Issue 4.) The lecture will take place in the Nan Tucker McEvoy auditorium. A reception will follow in the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard.
