Baylor seeks to fill the following tenure-track faculty position within the Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences:

Assistant Professor, African American History

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in the appropriate field of study.  You will be asked to provide a letter of interest; curriculum vitae; official transcripts showing highest degree conferred (if ABD, also submit official transcript of completed Ph.D. hours), and a list of three references in the application process.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R-1 institution and will be encouraged to seek external funding (which could include fellowships, grants, and other forms). Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
