Society for Renaissance Studies 9th Biennial Conference

Call for papers on Renaissance and Early Modern Global Imagination


The Society for Renaissance Studies will hold its 9th Biennial Conference on 7-9 July 2020, at University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom. Among the themes suggested for the conference, the organising committee welcomes proposals on ‘Border crossings, Communications, the New World’.


With this theme in mind, we invite paper proposals on the topics of global imagination and perceptions of global diversity in the period between c.1300 and c.1800.


Paper proposals should be sent by 30 August 2019 and include a title, a 250-word abstract, and the presenter’s institutional affiliation (if applicable), one-page CV and contact details.
