The Ninth Annual Conference of the Midwest World History Association

Theme: Finding Middle Grounds: Research, Teaching, and Learning in World History

20th-21st September 2019, North Hennepin Community College, Minneapolis, Minnesota


The Midwest World History Association is pleased to announce that registration for its annual conference to be held at North Hennepin Community College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on September 20-21, 2019, is now open. The conference theme is “Finding Middle Grounds: Research, Teaching, and Learning in World History.” Info about the conference, including a draft of the schedule of sessions is available; please click here.


Details about registration.

To register, one must be a current member of the MWWHA. Presenters must register for the conference by September 1, 2019 to be included in the program. Early Bird Registration ends September 7, 2019, after which the base registration fee will increase from $15 to $25. Lunches and keynote dinner may be purchased separately for $13 (each lunch) and $30 (dinner).


MWWHA also invites accepted papers to be submitted to our journal, The Middle Ground, for potential publication:
