This is an open call to seek papers for an edited volume on CHINA-INDIA-NEPAL: CIVIL MILITARY RELATIONS focusing on the trends in the development of Chinese, Indian and Nepalese military capabilities. It will also analyze the civil military relations of the armies of the three countries. The broad sub-themes are (but not limited to):

 

·Evolution of Armies

·Organization and Modern Reforms

·Budget, Trends and Capabilities

·Civilian Oversight: Media and Civil Society

·Army and Judiciary

·Defense Industry

·Today's Soldiers

·New Challenges for Military Leadership

·Age of Mechanised Warfare

·Comparative Analysis (of two or three armies of their – size/ budget/ organization/ strategy/ etc)

 

 

The book will be jointly edited by Dr Deepak Prakash Bhatt and Dr. Pramod Jaiswal. The complete chapter has to be submitted before 30 October 2019 and the length of the paper should not exceed 5000 words. Please use citations; avoid footnotes and endnotes.
