The Police and Sex Work -- then and now: Workshop at Humboldt Universität, Berlin, August 13-14, 2019
The interdisciplinary workshop "The Police and Sex Work -- then and now" will take place at Humboldt Universität in Berlin from August 13th to 14th 2019.
The finalized program includes a range of presentations on histories or ethnographies of the policing of prostutition, of the effects of recently changed, more restrictive policy in Canada, France, and Israel, and much more.
The workshop is preceded by a presentation of the special issue on "Sex work" of the Anti-Trafficking Review. To conclude, we screen the documentary "Crossings - stories of migrant sex workers".
