Vol. 20(1/2) 2019 - DIGNITY

In November 2019, we plan to publish a volume dedicated to the notion of dignity. The call for papers is open until the end of August 2019. Articles which focus on any of the following themes are welcome:

Human dignity in the contexts of

  1. Social (in)justice and ethical challenges in the globalised world;

  2. Philosophical and theological discourses;

  3. Religious and secular anthropologies;

  4. Recent social-political and economic developments;

  5. Catholic Social Teaching and in particular the teachings of Pope Francis;

  6. Ecumenical and interfaith perspectives.

Furthermore, potential authors are encouraged to submit papers on other (less obvious) aspects of dignity, including the dignity of work; the dignity of bodies (especially abused and excluded bodies); the dignity of creation; the dignity of natural environment and animals in particular, etc.

Guidelines for the authors can be found here.
