As part of the activities that take place on the Island to celebrate Geography Week, the Colectivo Puertorriqueño de Geografia is organizing the Primer Congreso de Geografia Eugenio Maria de Hostos [First Geography Meeting] to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 1 through 3, 2019. The theme of the meeting is "Reaffirming the importance of Geography through Hostos".
