Sustainable development-- a development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs-- is an effort to continue the development that was achieved through Millennium Development initiatives. However, it is very difficult to build an inclusive, permanent and resilient future for all the people in the globalized world of today. States are so firmly connected and integrated in terms of social, economic, political and environmental issues that they have brought about both prospects and challenges for all developing economies. In this context, the Faculty of Social Science, University of Rajshahi is inviting papers for presentation at an international conference on Prospects and Challenges of Sustainable Development in Developing Countries.
